About The Founder

It was during my twelve years of teaching night classes that it became clear to me, people need an investment. Not a monetary investment, but a personal investment. I realized the real lesson to be learned exists beyond textbook education. People need to be heard, respected, encouraged, helped when in need, and accepted right where they are in life, to know it will be okay and somedays people just need thirty minutes to let it all go and start over. I offered those thirty minutes to my students at the beginning of each class. The release that came in those thirty minutes continued to inspire me long after I stopped teaching.

I knew God had put on my heart a desire not to just help somewhere, but to reach out to people who did not have what I’ve been blessed with, coming from a big family and a lot of friends. My last activity as an Instructor, was throwing my student a baby shower because she was in need of everything.

She was a personal investment. I had thrown baby showers, birthday parties and made several investments in students over the years, but somehow these girls crossed my path, and my heart was drawn specifically to their needs. It was after the last shower was thrown and as I moved on, I realized God had given those girls a special place in my heart.

During 2010, I first became involved in a girl’s home and words cannot describe that initial experience. I fell in love with the girls there. I made a list of all the “things” we could do, but as I would come to learn, the situation would not permit. The following years left a burden deep on my heart for more. To offer more, give more, do more....there had to be more. Once I learned I was limited in one place, I began to carefully pray through how God could use me in another. I continued to volunteer with different girl’s organizations as well as personally broaden my personal scope of interests and desire for growth. I discovered a passion for women’s conferences and quickly learned women’s conferences were food for my soul. Years of attending conferences kept me going, but eventually it ignited my dream.

In 2021, I came back from a conference and felt God impress upon my heart to move forward. With a small budget, I set out to put on my first conference in April 2022. God blessed that conference more than I could have ever imagined. I prayed for at least 20 people in attendance. I had 72 people attend the first year. I cried and got down on my knees and thanked Him right there in the middle of the conference floor.

I have prayed it would continue to grow, as I have realized God has placed a call on my life to reach other women who are where I once was. Winding through the thorn dense, narrowing path, I was someone who had never really known the God of love, but rather well acquainted with an angry God. Graciously, He placed different ones in my life to walk with me and teach me about the God who loved me and fought for me, even when it looked like He was withholding.

It changed my heart and opened my eyes to see all the damage satan had done to distort God’s character. His love and persistence recklessly changed my life and set me free.

My heart is for everyone to know this freedom, peace, trust, love and life in a sold-out heart to God. I believe it is through sharing and walking alongside others on their journey that we get to change lives.

Be Encouraged ~

Sarah
